Final Presentations Day at Constructor University Bremen!
We are proud to share that the Community Impact Project (CIP) Spring 2026 Final Presentations have taken place at Constructor University Bremen — and what an inspiring day it was! Our student teams stood before a distinguished audience to present the solutions they have poured their energy, creativity, and technical skill into over the past months.
🏆 The Moment They’ve Been Working Toward
Final Presentation Day is more than a milestone — it is the moment where months of research, prototyping, iteration, and teamwork come together in front of a live audience. Each team delivered a polished, professional presentation showcasing not only their technical solution, but the real community need behind it and the impact it is designed to create.
This cycle’s presenting teams:
- WeCare — Presented their smart health monitoring system, demonstrating how IoT technology can support caregivers and vulnerable community members
- DiverseGrow — Showcased their precision agriculture platform, highlighting how sensor-driven insights can empower smallholder farmers with inclusive and sustainable practices
- Smart Solar Dryer — Delivered a compelling case for their renewable energy food preservation system, designed to reduce post-harvest losses in off-grid rural communities
👥 A Distinguished Audience
The presentations were attended by academic staff, program partners, and invited guests — including representatives from the broader YouthTeamUp and ERASMUS+ community. Teams fielded challenging questions with confidence, demonstrating not only technical depth but a genuine understanding of the social context their solutions address.
📐 From Prototype to Presentation
Each team submitted a complete project package including:
- A working IoT prototype built on WaziDev / ESP32 + Raspberry Pi
- Full technical documentation and hardware guides
- A professional slide deck covering problem statement, solution architecture, live demo, and impact roadmap
- A community impact report aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
🌱 SDG Alignment
| Team | SDG Focus |
|---|---|
| WeCare | Good Health & Well-Being (SDG 3) |
| DiverseGrow | Zero Hunger & Reduced Inequalities (SDG 2 & 10) |

🤝 Thank You to Our Partners
None of this would be possible without the ongoing commitment of our valued partners:
CUB, WaziUp, DTBi, BongoHive, UDSM and Edulife
Their technical expertise, mentorship, and institutional support continue to be the backbone of everything we do in the DVE programme.
💬 A Word of Gratitude
To our student teams — you came in as learners and walked out as innovators. The quality of your final presentations reflects not just what you built, but who you have become through this journey. To our instructors, teaching assistants, and partners — thank you for your unwavering support every step of the way.
Co-funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS+ programme, YouthTeamUp continues to prove that when African and European youth collaborate with purpose and the right tools, extraordinary things happen.
Congratulations to all CIP Spring 2026 graduates. The world needs what you are building. 🌍✨
