Empowering Students Through Global Collaboration and Impactful Solutions
On October 10, 2024, Constructor University students participated in an insightful hybrid meeting where Dr. Omid Fatahi Valilai introduced the Youth Team Up (YTU) project, the Deep Virtual Exchange (DVE), and the Community Impact Projects (CIP). This initiative paves the way for students to engage in collaborative and hands-on learning experiences with their African counterparts.
What is the Deep Virtual Exchange (DVE)?
The Deep Virtual Exchange (DVE) program is designed to foster cross-border collaboration between students at Constructor University and young innovators from African universities. Through this exchange, students work together on real-world challenges, gaining invaluable experience in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.
Collaborating on Global Impact Projects (GIPs)
During the session, Constructor University students learned how they will be collaborating with African partners and fellow youths on three selected Global Impact Projects (GIPs). The 2nd DVE program will enable students to:
- Contribute to sustainable and impactful initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Co-develop and implement solutions addressing global challenges
- Gain hands-on experience working in diverse, multicultural teams
The DVE program offers a unique opportunity for CU students to engage in applied learning while making a tangible impact on communities worldwide. Over the next two months, participants will work closely with their teams to develop their solutions and bring their projects to life.
