The session was led by Prof. Dr. Omid Fatahi Valilai and Roshanak Davallou, marking the start of an exciting new semester of student-driven innovation.

Highlights from the Kickoff

  • Students were introduced to the history of the Spring 2025 CIPs, which are initiated from the 4th Shallow Virtual Exchange (SVE)-selected Global Impact Projects (GIPs).
  • Participants came from diverse programs, including Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, and Intelligent Systems, and were guided on how to begin their project journeys.
  • Students also connected with their peers from Tanzania and Zambia, who will be collaborating with them on impactful cross-border initiatives.
  • The kickoff emphasized designing solutions that address real-world challenges aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Upcoming Workshop

As part of the learning journey, students will participate in a Systems Thinking Workshop this Friday, led by Dr. Alireza Mokhtar, titled: “System Thinking: Unlocking the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 13)”

This workshop is open to all Constructor University students.
