A successful Erasmus+ project meeting took place in Bremen, welcoming partners from University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Copperbelt University (Zambia), WaziUp (Germany), Edulife (Italy), BongoHive (Zambia), and DTBi (Tanzania). The in-person event, held on March 3rd and 4th, 2025, provided a platform for academic exchange, project progress review and evaluation, and strategic discussions on the YouthTeamUp Project.
Key Discussions & Academic Contributions
- The meeting featured insightful presentations where our partners provided detailed reports on the progress of Shallow and Deep Virtual Exchanges (SVE/DVE), student engagement, and the implementation of Global Impact Projects (GIPs). The discussions emphasized lessons learned, challenges faced, and the future direction of the project.
- A key highlight were the presentations of partners on the project’s outcomes, success stories, and an envisioned expansion of the initiative. Discussions focused on enhancing student mobility, interdisciplinary research, and deeper academic cooperation between African and European institutions.
- The Erasmus+ initiative provides an excellent framework for fostering global partnerships in education and research. Through the YouthTeamUp project , we have not only created meaningful learning experiences but also laid the foundation for long-term cooperation between institutions.
Strengthening Partnerships
Beyond formal meetings, our partners engaged in networking sessions and a city tour of Bremen, further strengthening professional and institutional ties.
The Erasmus+ initiative continues to serve as a catalyst for international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building in higher education.
